Nosferatu (2024)

★★★☆☆

The adaptation was a visual treat, pulling me into a rich and immersive world.

That said, the acting left me wanting more. While the cast kept the story moving, it felt like the performances lacked the dramatic punch to really elevate the film.

Count Orlok’s mystique faded at times, especially in scenes where he talked too much or appeared in overly bright settings. This took away some of the eerie, enigmatic vibe that makes him such an unforgettable character.

I also think the film could have leaned harder into its sensual side. A bolder approach to nudity and intimacy might have added to the dark, seductive energy and deepened the exploration of fear and desire.

All in all, I enjoyed it. The visuals and atmosphere were top-notch, making it a solid horror movie that’s definitely worth checking out.
