Batman: The Killing Joke
Rating: ⭐⭐⭐ (3/5)

I don’t know why, but for some reason I expected this to be longer. Nonetheless, it was a decent read. Batman, but with more focus on the Joker, offering a version of his origins. The most memorable part was the sequence involving Jim Gordon and his daughter. It’s a solid story, but not something I’d recommend getting your hopes up for. It’s clean, well-written, and the art is great, but it lacks a complex narrative and subsequently is short. Still, it’s a fun, quick read.
I read the edition that includes the bonus short story An Innocent Guy. More content is always welcome, but that story just pops in out of nowhere without context, so people might assume it’s part of the main narrative. So there’s that.
